VTB (Armenia) Private Banking sponsored the release of singer Zara Markosyan and The Lightning Band’s “Jazz With ME” album the presentation of which was held today.

Vice-President of Bank VTB24 , Head of the International Business Department of VTB24 Vsevolod Smakov who was present at the event noted that VTB Group pays great attention to business development with private customers around the world and added “we are glad to talk not only about the association of business but also cultural environment”.

“I am glad to be present at the presentation ceremony of Zara Markosyan’s album, which was released under the aegis of VTB Armenia Private Banking”, Vsevolod Smakov said.

In his turn, General Director-Chairman of Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia) Yuri Gusev said that it’s a new and very promising format for the bank.

“We decided to support one of the most favorite Armenian singers Zara Markosyan and released a CD directed by our bank. I love the final product. The funding of Zara Markosyan and The Lightning Band’s song-recording as well as the CD replication is aimed is supporting talented artists in the music industry”, Yuri Gusev stated.

He noted that the project pursues no commercial goal, and CDs with an edition of 1000 copies will not be sold; instead, they will be distributed to the bank’s Private Banking employees, partners, subsidiaries and VTB Group banks.

According to Yuri Gusev, VTB (Armenia) Bank will support cultural programs in the future as well. He noted that presently the Bank is negotiating with one of the most successful Russian artists who hasn’t performed in Armenia to organize her concert in Yerevan in late May.

Zara Markosyan expressed her gratitude to VTB (Armenia) Bank due to which she managed to release her CD.
