Appointments in Armenia’s new Government

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree today, making several appointments to Ministers’ positions.

Vardan Aramyan was appointed the Minister of Finance, Ignaty Arakelyan – the Minister of Agriculture, Ashot Manukyan was appointed the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, and Vahan Martirosyan – the Minister of Transport and Communication.

Vache Gabrielyan was re-appointed the Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms, and Deputy Prime Minister, and Davit Harutyunyan was appointed Minister-Chief of Government Staff.

By another decree of Armenian President, Aleksan Harutyunyan, earlier releaved of his duties as Armenian Ambassador to Argentina, was appointed to the position of First Deputy Chief of Presidential Staff, previously held by Vardan Aramyan.
