“Insurance Business” educational center opened in Yerevan
Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Insurance Business” educational- methodological center opened in the State University of Economics of Armenia today.
Mediamax reports that, speaking at the opening of the center, SUEA Rector Yuri Suvaryan stated that the insurance market in Armenia is developing quite dynamically, and “in order to keep track of this process, one should have knowledge and practice”. He stressed that “the center will allow students being constantly aware of the events and being ready for challenges of the modern insurance market”.
Member of the Central Bank Board Grigor Konjeyan informed that from now on, November 19 will be celebrated as the Insurer’s Day in Armenia. He noted that the insurance market of the country is yet at the stage of development, it requires practical solutions and needs highly qualified professionals.
According to the Director of “Prime Insurance Brokers” Insurance Company Artavazd Yakhshibekyan, opening of the center is an exceptional case, when 8 competitor companies got united around a single goal. He stresses that besides “Prime Insurance Brokers”, other companies – “Cascade Insurance”, “Garant-Limes”, “Sil-Insurance”, “Ingo Armenia”, “Nairi Insurance”, “GRIAR Insurance” and “Rosgosstrakh Armenia” also participated in founding the educational center.
