Converse Bank was announced as the winner of the Best Exchange Member in Repo/Swap Transactions for 2016 nomination at the award ceremony of NASDAQ OMX Armenia Stock Exchange, held on February 3.

Besides, Converse Bank’s Dealer Hasmik Matevosyan was recognized as the winner in Best Trading Partner for 2016 nomination.  

The bank remarked that Converse Bank was awarded for one nomination last year, namely Best Exchange Member in Repo/Swap Transactions for 2015.

“The bank was proposed for two nominations this year. And it was awarded for both, thereby confirming its leading positions. It is not only pleasing, but also committing. We are confident that, owing to the hard work, professionalism, and active participation at the Stock Exchange, our Team will manage to maintain the achieved positions this year too,” the bank's message reads.

NASDAQ OMX Armenia Best Members Award has been held for the seventh year now. The winners are determined taking into account the quantity, volume, and efficiency of the transactions, concluded at NASDAQ OMX Armenia platform.

2-3 candidates were proposed at NASDAQ OMX Armenia for each nomination, except for the Best Trading Partner for 2016 nomination, which involved all dealers.
