Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan said today that the government attached importance to increase of investment in economy and was ready to discuss efforts in advancing that phenomenon.

Prime Minister made this statement at the meeting with large foreign direct investors in Armenia.

The parties discussed realization of investment projects in IT, mining, energy and agriculture sectors, mostly issues relating to tax and duty regulation and diversification of transportation routes.

Karen Karapetyan advised foreign investors to prepare written proposals, and promised to “implement reached agreements to the fourth decimal place”.

“You are the business people. You have to define what you do and what I do so that we walk together. I will wait for your offers,” Prime Minister said.
