Russian investment has great potential in Armenia, says Armenian PM

Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia Ivan Volynkin.

Prime Minister observed that the alliance and friendship between Armenia and Russia have a strong base, and stressed that the collaboration is advancing in all directions.

After making a remark that Russia is the main trade partner of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan attached importance to the further expansion and development of trade and economic cooperation.

Karen Karapetyan emphasized that Armenian Government is ready to take necessary measures in that department, and added that there is great potential for realization of new investment projects and continuous increase of trade turnover.

Ivan Volynkin stressed his readiness to support the new Armenian Government in implementation of joint initiatives.
