"Cascade Insurance” CJSC was founded in 2005 and operates under license APO (0001) 0046 issued by the Central Bank of Armenia.

"Cascade Insurance” is a subsidiary of "Cascade Capital Holdings” CJSC, which in its turn was founded by "Cafesjian Family Foundation”, a United States organization.

In August 2005 the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) acquired a 35% equity share of "Cascade Insurance”. "Cascade Capital Holdings” owns 65% of the company’s shares.

The main mission of the company is "To suggest insurance solutions to risk management, to meet the needs of broader range of clients, through provision of comprehensive insurance services in the RA market".

"Cascade Insurance” offers comprehensive Non Life insurance services to individual and corporate clients on the following types of non life insurance:

- Compulsory Insurance of Vehicle Owners’ Civil Liability (CIVOCL)

- Cargo (transportable property)

Cascade Insurance operates a unique 24/7call center, giving clients instant access to help and advice from doctors and specialists.

"Cascade Insurance” reinsures its risks in the international markets, including Lloyd’s syndicates, SCOR, Polish Re, Munich Re, AIG Europe (UK), Ace European Group, Swiss Reinsurance Company (Swiss Re), SAVA Re, Brit Insurance.

Current paid up share capital of the company is AMD 1,187,956,000. Cascade Insurance currently employs 39 staff.

"Cascade Insurance” provides personal lines insurance services to over 4000 individual customers and works with over 600 corporate clients. In 5 years of activity the company has paid over AMD 380 mln in compensations.
