"BUREAU VERITAS – Armenia” is one of the regional representations of "BUREAU VERITAS” International Group.

"BUREAU VERITAS” is French company which was founded in 1828 as a technical society. The headquarter of company is located in Paris.

During 180 years of its history, "BUREAU VERITAS” has significantly expanded the range of its activities, having transformed into a transnational technical society, specialized in Certification of Management Systems, Certification of Products, Classification, Inspection, Technical Control, Evaluation, Expertise, Training and Consulting. "BUREAU VERITAS” having a network of about 1 000 offices and 330 laboratories with 47 000 specialists and consultants in 150 countries worldwide every day is able to serve 370 000 clients.

In certification activities, "BUREAU VERITAS – Armenia” cooperates with Armenian companies in almost all sectors of economy, ranging from industry and construction to banking system and IT sector as well as food sector. Over 40 Armenian companies are certified by "BUREAU VERITAS” according to following standards:

• ISO 9001, an international standard related to requirements for Quality Management System, compliance with latter, conforms that company’s product or service complies with customer’s requirements and legislation;

• ISO 22000, an international standard specifying the requirements for Food Safety Management System implementation and certification;

• ISO 27001, an international standard specifying requirements for Information Security Management System implementation and certification;

In implementation of ISO 27001 standard, "BUREAU VERITAS – Armenia” also cooperates with software suppliers companies for Armenia’s banking sector.
