ProCredit Bank launched its activity in Armenia on February 5, 2008 (RA CB license N85, issued on December 7, 2007). ProCredit Bank is a full-fledged bank with a 100% foreign capital, focused on offering high-quality banking services to small and medium sized enterprises and private individuals.

ProCredit Bank in Armenia is a member of ProCredit Group, consisting of 21 financial institutions operating in Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America, which are governed by ProCredit Holding located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Shareholders of ProCredit Bank are such well-known international organizations as:

- "ProCredit Holding” - 68.46% of shares
- "European Bank for Reconstruction and Development” (EBRD) – 16.67% of shares
- "Development Bank” (KfW) – 14.87% of shares

Bank is a member of Union of banks of Armenia, Deposit Guarantee Fund of Armenia, VISA international payment system, as well as American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia. The Bank also partners with "AKRA Credit Reporting” CJSC.

As of 31 March, 2012, the number of the bank’s employees made 311 people.

As of 31 March, 2012: total capital - 5,320,556 thousand AMD, assets - 31,451,770 thousand AMD, the liabilities - 26,131,214 thousand AMD.
